It was horribly irresponsible of me, but I spent all my pennies on a new camera. And I love it! Took me forever to decide what camera to buy (not that many options in my price range), but I finally settled on a Nikon D3000. Read tons of reviews on it, and quite a few people complained about it, but I'd used one before in school and I remembered it as being pretty solid and a total blast to use, so I figured they were just whiners. (I know, I know. Why read the reviews if you're just going to ignore them?) And I was right! So far, anyway. It's fun and works as well as you can possibly expect for under $500. Now I just need some free time to

Two things: 1.) I'm in Seattle, and I have no camera. It pretty much sucks. :( 2.) It's almost NaNoWriMo time!!! I'm excited! I have an idea that I love and can't wait to work on! (Surprising, I know.) And since I'm camera-free, I guess I'll have plenty of time, too.

I broke another camera. This is not my year.
